So I spent the new year sleeping away as I had worked overnight for the countdown. Sad to say it's not a very good way to start the new year. To make it worse, I got a call while I was finishing work. That call was no good news. Turned out it was my bf telling me that he was on his way to the hospital as he had injured himself while working. Something heavy fell and hit him on the shoulder and chest area.
Once I ended work, I quickly took a cab down to the hospital. An even worst way to welcome the new year is to rush down to the hospital. But thank God, everything was fine in the end. Bf suffered some bad bruise and soreness but doctor said it should heal up in a week or so. And we had to keep our fingers crossed that no 'internal injuries/aftermath' will occur. Medical bills came up to less than a hundred so I'm really thankful for that. Both of us reached home safely around 5-6 in the morning.
Thank God the drama lasted only for that day.
I'm kind of glad that it's finally a new year. December had been really bad for me. I used to love Decembers the most because it's the month of my birthday and there's Christmas, my favourite festive occasion. But December 2012, was like the worst month of my life. Serious. I got pretty upset and pissed for both the occasions due to work stuffs and friend's issues. My studies was kind of messed up too. It's a long story but that's already over so I shall not harp on those issues and remind myself of all the unhappiness. And that is why I'm really happy the new year had arrived.
One thing that I was really happy about December 2012 was the compliments I received for my manicure.
